Auto-renewal & cancellation policy
Plain terms for how memberships renew, when charges land, and exactly what happens if you cancel. Last reviewed July 2026.
01 · How auto-renewal works
Every membership is a continuous subscription. It renews automatically at the price shown when you signed up, and keeps renewing until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
02 · How to cancel
Cancel at any time, yourself, in under a minute. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — it is never immediate and never back-dated.

- 03Choose Cancel plan and confirm.
- 04Check the confirmation email — it states the exact date your access ends.
To avoid the next charge entirely, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
03 · Cancellation timing examples
Example A — Monthly, cancelled in good time
You joined on 3 March, so you renew on the 3rd of each month. You cancel on 27 March. No charge is taken on 3 April. Your access, and any unspent credits, stay live until the end of 2 April.
Example B — Monthly, cancelled on renewal day
Your renewal is 3 April and you cancel at 09:00 on 3 April, after the charge has already gone through. That payment stands and you keep full access until 2 May. Nothing is charged on 3 May.
Example C — Annual, cancelled mid-term
You joined on 1 February on the annual plan and cancel on 20 August. You are not charged again on 1 February the following year, and you keep full access for the remaining months you already paid for.
Example D — Cancel then change your mind
You cancel but the period has not ended yet. Re-subscribing from the billing portal before the end date keeps your membership continuous — nothing is lost and no new signup is needed.
04 · Refunds
- · We do not pro-rate or refund unused time on a period already started.
- · Duplicate or clearly accidental charges are refunded in full — just ask.
- · Statutory rights, where they apply to you, are unaffected by this policy.
- · Top-up credit packs are non-refundable once the credits are issued.
05 · Access & credits after cancelling
- · Full access continues until the end of the paid period.
- · Your credit balance is preserved, not deleted — it simply freezes.
- · Specs you already unlocked stay readable permanently.
- · Resubscribing restores the exact balance you had.
06 · Credit mechanics FAQ
How are the 5 credits issued?
Every active membership is issued 5 unlock credits at the start of each 14-day cycle. Issuance is automatic — nothing to claim. Your first 5 land the moment your subscription is confirmed, and the countdown to the next drop is shown in the header and on your dashboard.
Do unspent credits accumulate?
Yes. Anything you do not spend stays in your balance and the next 5 are added on top. Skip three cycles and you will be sitting on 15 — there is no per-cycle cap and no forced usage.
Do credits roll over between cycles and plans?
They roll over indefinitely while your membership stays active, including across a switch between the monthly and annual plan. Switching plans never resets or forfeits an existing balance.
Do credits ever expire?
No expiry date is attached to a credit while your membership is active — neither cycle credits nor purchased top-up packs. Credits are only frozen if your subscription lapses.
What happens to my balance if I cancel or payment fails?
Your balance is preserved, not deleted. While the subscription is inactive (cancelled, past due or unpaid) you cannot spend credits, but the exact balance is restored the moment billing resumes. Everything you already unlocked stays permanently readable.
What does one credit actually buy?
One credit permanently unlocks any single specification in the master archive — your choice, in any order. Once unlocked, that record stays open to you for life, with no further credit cost on re-reads or updates.
What if I run out before the next 14-day refresh?
Buy a top-up pack at a lower unit rate. Pack credits are credited instantly, merge into the same balance, and follow the same no-expiry rule while your membership is active.
